Arms opens Spearing Strike, Fury opens Raging Blows, Protection opens VanguardThese one-point talents are WoW Forever's new milestone at 16 points.
WoW Forever keeps 52 Warrior talents, the same total as Classic, but only five of them are unchanged. Ten talents are new, 35 have new wording or numbers and two moved to another spot in the tree. Ten Classic Warrior talents are gone, most of them the weapon specializations and shout upgrades that used to fill the middle rows.
The 31-point talents are still Mortal Strike, Bloodthirst and Shield Slam. The new 16-point milestone gives each tree a one-point talent in row 4: Spearing Strike for Arms, Raging Blows for Fury and Vanguard for Protection.
A WoW Forever Arms Warrior spends most points in this tree. Arms trades its four weapon specializations for Weaponmaster, a five-rank talent whose bonus depends on the weapon: critical strike chance with axes and polearms, armor penetration with maces and staves, and an extra-attack effect with swords. Bloodthrill lets your main-hand hits on targets with your Rend open Overpower, which ties Rend and Overpower into one loop. Spearing Strike is a new active attack that deals extra damage to Giants, Dragonkin and mounted targets and dismounts them. Mortal Strike still needs Sweeping Strikes at max rank.
A WoW Forever Fury Warrior spends most points in this tree. Fury loses Improved Battle Shout, Improved Demoralizing Shout and Improved Cleave. In their place, Lingering Rage slows Rage decay after combat, Furious Precision adds off-hand hit chance for dual wielders, Raging Blows cuts the Rage cost of Cleave and Whirlwind, and Gore Drinker makes your Enrage, Berserker Rage, Bloodrage, Death Wish and Bloodthirst heal you on your next melee attacks. Bloodthirst now also raises your movement speed for 10 seconds.
This is the tree a WoW Forever Prot Warrior fills first. Toughness, Improved Shield Block and Improved Taunt are gone. Master of Defense generates Rage when you dodge or parry with a shield, Vanguard lets you Charge in Defensive Stance, and Focused Rage lowers the cost of your offensive abilities. Shield Slam is still the 31-point talent.
Points arrive one per level from 10, so the Warrior trees fill slowly. The level selector keeps a build legal for the level you choose, and the Legacy Talented option shows how much sooner the points come if you have that perk. The talent reference below lists every Warrior talent with all of its ranks, so you can read a whole tree without hovering over each icon.
Every point you spend is written to the page address, so a WoW Forever Warrior build is saved the moment you make it. Copy the build link to post it in your guild chat or a guide; opening it restores the same points, level and Legacy Talented rank. Your last Warrior build also stays in this browser, and the Legacy talents planner works the same way for your account perks.
52, the same number as in Classic, but only 5 are unchanged. 10 are new, 35 changed and 2 moved, and 10 Classic Warrior talents were removed.
Mortal Strike in Arms, Bloodthirst in Fury and Shield Slam in Protection.
Spearing Strike, Bloodthrill and Weaponmaster in Arms; Lingering Rage, Furious Precision, Raging Blows and Gore Drinker in Fury; and Master of Defense, Vanguard and Focused Rage in Protection.
Axe, Mace, Sword and Polearm Specialization are gone from the Arms tree. Weaponmaster replaces them with one five-rank talent that gives a bonus based on the weapon you use.
You get one talent point per level from level 10, so with every point in one tree you reach its one-point talents at levels 20, 25, 30 and 40. Arms: Anger Management at level 20, Spearing Strike at 25, Sweeping Strikes at 30 and Mortal Strike at 40; Fury: Piercing Howl at level 20, Raging Blows at 25, Death Wish at 30 and Bloodthirst at 40; Protection: Last Stand at level 20, Vanguard at 25, Concussion Blow at 30 and Shield Slam at 40. Some need a prerequisite at max rank first, and the Legacy perk Talented moves each step up to 5 levels earlier. Set your level in the calculator to see exactly what fits.
Yes. Blizzard's Warrior deep dive says any party or raid is happy to add a Warrior as either a tank or a damage dealer. Protection keeps Shield Slam as its 31-point talent and adds Vanguard, which lets you Charge in Defensive Stance, and Master of Defense, which gives Rage when you dodge or parry with a shield.
It uses WoW Forever beta client build 1.60.1.70425, from the 15 October 2026 beta update, and the build and import date are shown at the top of the calculator. When Blizzard changes the Warrior trees in a new build, the trees, the talent reference and this page are updated and the change is listed in the changelog.
